The Worcester County Food Bank continues to be the main source of food for the Barre Food Pantry. But the Barre Food Pantry relies on donations from the community to more fully meet the needs of its clients. The Barre Food Pantry has seen a significant increase in the number of families needing assistance due to food insecurity, and winter months are most critical for donations. There is a basket in the Narthex of the church.
Items needed include: canned tuna, pastas, jam/jelly, peanut butter, soups, cereal, jello/pudding, canned spaghetti, chili, beef stew, baked beans, personal care items - shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, Poise, feminine products, warm socks and gloves, mouthwash and dental floss.
